When you place a pre-order reservation or contact us through safeorbit.in, we collect only the necessary information to process your reservation and prepare for hardware delivery:

• Customer Identity: Full name and designation (individual parent or institution representative).
• Communication Channels: Email address and 10-digit Indian mobile number for order verification receipts, production updates, and courier tracking.
• Geographic Location: Delivery city to organize regional shipping routes.
• Security & Abuse Prevention Telemetry: Anonymized SHA-256 hashed IP addresses and email tokens used strictly to enforce durable rate limiting and prevent automated payment fraud.

2. Payment Information & PCI DSS Compliance

We do not collect, process, or store credit/debit card numbers, CVVs, net banking passwords, or UPI PINs on our servers. All financial transactions are processed securely through our RBI-authorized payment partner, Razorpay Software Private Limited, which complies with Level 1 PCI DSS standards. We receive only transaction reference tokens, order IDs, and payment statuses.

• Confirmed Reservations: Customer reservation records for paid orders are retained to manage hardware assembly priority, address confirmation, dispatch logistics, and statutory warranty coverage.
• Uncompleted Checkout Attempts: Pending or failed checkout sessions older than 30 days are purged from our database.
• Rate Limiting Buckets: Ephemeral rate limiting records are cleaned up after 24 hours.
